Friedrich Rechberger takes over as the new CEO of HydroDyn Recycling GmbH on February 2, 2024. Company founder Michael Hofmann focuses as co-CEO on strategic business development and sales. With this strengthening of the management team, the specialists in innovative process engineering for cleaning and processing plastic waste aim to further advance their growth plan and expand their role as a technological pioneer.
For his new role as CEO, 56-year-old Rechberger brings over 30 years of international experience in managing technology companies.
The manager, who grew up in Feldkirchen an der Donau (Upper Austria), has an impressive track record in establishing and managing machinery and plant construction companies worldwide, particularly in the plastics processing industry.
"I am delighted to take on the CEO position at HydroDyn and continue the successful development of the company," says Friedrich Rechberger. “I am confident that with the dedicated HydroDyn team, we can further advance our mission of a better and sustainable future.”
Before joining the Hamburg-based washing system manufacturer, Mr. Rechberger worked, among other roles, in an advisory capacity in the conception of facilities for the plastic circular economy.

#storage heads - We have delivered another major project. A storage head with a storage volume of 60 litres has reached our customer. Although a large project with a height of around 4 metres, it is by no means the first order of this size to leave our production halls. Although we are known for our head technology for the consumer goods industry, we have also been building large heads and storage heads for industrial packaging and large technical parts for over 30 years. And we can also do this in multiple layers!
